Join our team at Hampton Inn, part of the Brownwood Hospitality Group Inc, where we are committed to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team in the roles of Host and Hostess for our Hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming Guests:
Greet all guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.
Seating Arrangements:
Manage seating arrangements efficiently to optimize service and maintain a smooth flow within the dining areas.
Reservation Management:
Handle reservations and waitlists using our system, accommodating guest preferences and seating requests whenever possible.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between the kitchen, serving staff, and guests to ensure seamless service and address any issues promptly.
Menu Presentation:
Present menus to guests and answer any questions they may have about the offerings, providing recommendations when appropriate.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, dining, and lounge areas throughout service.
Special Requests:
Assist with special arrangements for large parties, celebrations, or other guest requests to enhance their experience.
Customer Service:
Uphold our standard of high-quality customer service, responding to guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent Communication Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player:
Collaborative spirit to work effectively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Customer Service Orientation:
A genuine interest in providing outstanding service and enhancing the guest experience. Attention to
Detail:
Keen attention to detail to ensure all guest needs are met and service standards are maintained.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods and manage the physical demands of a busy restaurant environment.
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
