Please fill out a complete application here: https://f.momentumtools.io/?form=v4_fjpzztuhcgep Alamo Drafthouse Movie Party and Event hosts harness their own passion for great movies to create an interactive experience for audiences. Hosts prepare for each event prior to arrival using materials provided by Alamo, dress up themed to the event, set up pre-show entertainment, coordinate running the event with Alamo management and staff, greet guests, introduce films to a live audience, and host a live contest or game before each screening. If you're talented at improvising, talking passionately about movies you love, and hosting games, you are the person we're seeking.

Alamo Drafthouse partners with Geeks Who Drink for staffing this position. There may be additional abilities to host trivia and other entertainment events.
Requirements:
You gotta love movies! You have to have public speaking experience, significant swagger, and the ability to get an audience hyped to watch their favorite movies. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Be able to work and run an event independently. You must be available to work evenings. (Nights vary.)
Responsibilities:
Prepare for events prior to arrival using Alamo Drafthouse instructions and resources. Entertain a potentially rowdy crowd and command the room. Coordinate running the event with local Alamo management and staff. Complete online and/or in-person training. Train new Alamo Drafthouse hosts on successfully running events.
Perks:
Event pay ranges from $75-$150, depending on the duration and responsibilities of the event Hosts receive a ticket to the event they're hosting for themself and a guest Free meal and non-alcoholic beverages Enough free popcorn to destroy a California physicist's house
