Your energy and excellent communication skills will ensure smooth seating processes, manage reservations, and provide exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they step in. Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring accurate seating arrangements. Coordinate with the restaurant team to seat guests promptly and accommodate special requests or needs. Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring menus, reservation books, and waiting lists are up-to-date. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu items, or special events while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns or questions courteously and promptly. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing waiting lists and communicating wait times clearly to guests. Qualifications Prior experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as toast is a plus. Previous experience in hospitality environments like hotels or restaurants is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
