Job Description

Host/Cashier Hourly Position - $15.15/HR Must be flexible to work Days, Swings, and Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE :
Under the general direction of the Food & Beverage Front of House Manager, the Host Cashier maintains an efficient and courteous restaurant operation by greeting arriving guests in a friendly manner, seating guests promptly, and collecting payment and giving accurate change according to established policies.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE

N/A ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Maintain knowledge of restaurant seating, volumes, and seat patrons according to available tables. Assists in resetting tables and dining room cleanliness Responsible for Point of Sales register and accepting credit cards, cash, and comps for payment of food and beverage orders. Maintain a work environment that is safe, professional, and conducive to a high level of productivity and performance. Puts guest service as the first priority of the department and actions of the staff with the goal of creating personalized guest service experience leading casino players to return again to the casino. Works as a member of the service team to provide a seamless experience for guests. Resolves guest issues. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma/GED or a combination of education/experience/training. Must be experienced in handling cash and using a POS.
Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrate ability to establish rapport and effectively relate to various guests and Team Members.
PREFERRED
:
Education and Experience :
Minimum 2 years host/hostess/cashier experience in restaurants with high volume.
REQUIRED TRAINING
: New Team Member Orientation Team Member Policy Handbook Department Policy Handbook Guest Service Standards Any position related training deemed necessary by Department Manager
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies. Must successfully complete an Introductory Period. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner. Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations. Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies. Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable. Practice good personal hygiene. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
