Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining excellent guest relations. This is an hourly and plus tip out position. Must be able to work nights weekends, some holidays, and Texas Tech games. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu options. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host station. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences. Uphold restaurant standards for guest services, ensuring every visitor feels valued. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food service practices and guest relations principles. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
