Host

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
• Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
• Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
• Answer phone calls and take reservations
• Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table or room is ready
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Must have a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry practices is advantageous
