The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is crucial in ensuring that every guest has a positive dining experience from the moment they enter until they leave. The Host/Cashier will manage reservations, greet guests, and handle transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Hours Shifts 8am-2:30pm Part Time - 4 days including weekends + holidays Holidays Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests, enhancing their dining experience. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous host/host or cashier experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette. Familiarity with food service operations and serving techniques is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory. A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
