Hostess/ Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience in our establishment. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system (experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus). Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest relations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and restaurant procedures. Uphold all health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience as a host/host or in hotel guest services is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is highly desirable. Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries over the phone.
