Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements to foster a lively and hospitable atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and availability Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about menu options or specials Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including waiting lists and reservation logs Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills to enhance overall satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or restaurant settings Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, serving procedures, and restaurant operations Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or hotel services is highly desirable Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality skills help create memorable experiences for every guest!
