The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Assist guests with inquiries, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment. Skills Strong background in restaurant or food service environments is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and staff. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to help guests feel welcome and valued. Previous experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not required.
