Host/Hostess

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere while managing the flow of patrons in our restaurant. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of guest relations, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items, wait times, and reservations. Assist guests with inquiries and provide exceptional guest services throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory as training will be provided. Strong phone etiquette skills and an ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. A passion for providing outstanding guest relations and enhancing the overall dining experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by restaurant operations.
