Host

Irish Pub and restaurant is seeking qualified candidates for a host position. A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required. The ability to work on your feet for long periods of time. Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to keep a positive, friendly attitude when engaging with customers. Greet customers at the door and seat them promptly, providing them with accurate wait times as needed. Provide guests with menus, and take initial drink orders. Ensure that workloads are distributed evenly among all waitstaff. Take incoming calls, answer any customer inquiries, and schedule reservations. Maintain a clean work environment throughout the shift, and assist with clean-up at the end of the night.
