Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Busser to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring efficient seating, and supporting the service staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for guest service. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations with professionalism and courtesy Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth seating process Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables promptly Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently during service Support the front-of-house team with guest needs, including answering phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette Manage guest relations by providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit Operate POS systems management and order processing when needed Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest services at all times Experience Previous host/host experience or food service background is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances suitability for this role Excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills are highly valued Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a positive guest experience.
