Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. This role involves managing guest relations, handling cash transactions, and supporting the overall operations of our establishment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Manage the flow of guests in the restaurant to ensure efficient service. Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and payments accurately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Assist with food service duties as needed, including taking orders and serving food. Uphold high standards of hospitality in line with our restaurant's values. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service role within the hospitality or food service industry is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to help others, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
