Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations. Utilize POS systems such as Toast for managing reservations and orders when necessary. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times. Qualifications Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette. Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems (TOAST) is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
