Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a few energetic and dedicated Maitre'Ds to join our team at Pascolo Ristorante! As a Maitre'D, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through welcoming guests, managing reservations, and seating walk in parties to maximize the amount of guests nightly. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for fine dining. Duties Greet all parties as they enter the restaurant. Manage reservations via Resy. Seat walk-in guests and manage waitlist for tables via Resy. Answer the phone and answer questions regarding menus, table availability, and any other restaurant-related questions. Assist with food running, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed during busy periods. Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations in both food service and restaurant environments. Experience Previous restaurant experience with a focus on food service or hospitality is required. Experience working with POS systems Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with guests from diverse backgrounds. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures. Pay:
$34.00 - $38.00 per hour
