This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and handling cashier responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to exceptional guest relations and service. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize the flow of the restaurant Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Process guest payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring smooth transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, including providing menu information and addressing concerns promptly Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery and guest satisfaction Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest service at all times Qualifications Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in restaurant operations, guest services, or hospitality environments is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional guest service and hospitality!
