JOB SUMMARY
Dedicated to serving guests of the casino in the Beverage and Bars. Ensures all guests are of the legal alcohol consumption age of 21 through WSLB (Washington State Liquor Board) acceptable forms of identification. Assists wait staff and checks I.D. for nightclub events. Ensures compliance with all Health, Liquor, and Gaming Regulations. Provides quality accommodation in a timely manner, for all guests and TRC guests. Operates and maintains computerized guest reservations while also maintaining the flow of guests coming into the venues in an efficient manner. Works with the POS system, cash handling, and maintaining guest wait list. Assists team members as needed or requested.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Graduate from a Bartending Academy preferred. Successful completion of Tulalip Job Ready Program may be considered in lieu of guest service experience requirement.
SKILLS:
Must have basic math skills.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of six (6) months experience working in a full service restaurant, bar or nightclub. Minimum of six (6) months experience working with the public utilizing guest service skills. Minimum of six (6) months work experience as a host and/or cashier in a restaurant, preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain and hold a Class 12 Liquor permit within 60 days from hire date. Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit. Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends and/or holidays. Must have successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
