As a key ambassador of our establishment, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster a positive environment that encourages repeat visits and memorable moments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set a positive tone for their visit Manage guest reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times Take take out orders accurately and relay them promptly to kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about food and beverages, and provide recommendations when needed Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, ensuring clear communication and prompt assistance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest services and uphold high standards of hospitality As servers will tip out a percentage of their sales you will need to help with bussing tables and/or running food. Assist them as needed and within reason. Requirements Previous host or hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and hospitality best practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests Previous experience in hotel or guest services is a plus but not required Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Join us as a Weekend Host and be the friendly face that makes every guest's experience memorable!
