Job Summary Sleep Inn located at 1259 Greenmor Drive, Bessemer, AL 35022. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail will set the tone for guests' entire stay, creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences. Operate multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and coordinate guest services. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options to enhance guest experience. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly. Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person. Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy. Support guest relations initiatives by anticipating needs and delivering personalized service. Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of the resort or hotel. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including guest relations and phone etiquette. Experience handling night audit procedures is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
