Night Auditor/Front Desk Clerk

Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent Welcome, check-in, check-out, and work with guests during their stay Make reservations for future stays Use and troubleshoot property management system effectively Perform the tasks using the property management system (training provided) Guide guests to room locations, types of rooms available, room rates, and property outline. Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Balance and manage phone calls and guest interaction efficiently Occasionally perform basic guest room maintenance work for troubleshooting with guests. Setup and maintain food and beverage for morning full breakfast Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor. Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements Hotel experience is NOT required but is a highly preferred Job Requirements Previous customer service experience Strong customer service orientation and skills. Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner. Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit/debit and cash handling policies and procedures. Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures. Present a professional image, and able to communicate well with both guests and employees Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Great communication & organizational skills Proficient computer skills Must be able to withstand standing, walking, stoping, and bending for an extended period of time with reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Best Western experience preferred, major hotel chain experience secondarily preferred

Pay:

$16-$17/hr DOE. We are a small business with few employees, therefore, benefits are not offered.

Typical hours:

11p-7a, must be flexible for schedule changes, holidays and weekends required. Part time is only for weekend nights Sat./Sun. night

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
