Job Description
This is not a typical job posting. If you are looking for a place to clock in and clock out, this is not it. If you are someone who holds themselves to a high standard and takes pride in creating an exceptional experience for others — read on. Rest Recovery Wellness North Phoenix is a performance recovery center — not a gym, not a spa. We offer eight evidence-informed recovery technologies including Cold Plunge, Infrared Sauna, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Float Therapy, Red Light, Compression, PEMF, and Halo Therapy — all under one roof. We serve athletes, executives, first responders, active adults, and families who take their health seriously. We opened in May 2026 and are growing fast. We are looking for one person to join our team as a Guest Experience Specialist. This role is the standard-bearer of the member experience. When you are here, everything runs right. Who You Are The ideal candidate has worked in hospitality, boutique fitness, wellness, chiropractic, physical therapy, luxury retail, country clubs, or customer service environments where relationships matter. You do not need a wellness degree. You do not need a sales background. What you need is something that cannot be taught — character, presence, and the instinct to make someone feel like they belong the moment they walk through the door. You are the right person for this role if: People trust you quickly and remember how you made them feel You hold yourself to a high standard without being told to You are genuinely curious about health, wellness, and recovery — this world interests you You remember names, pick up on what people need, and act before they ask You have worked in hospitality, wellness, fitness, healthcare, or customer-facing service You are a college student or recent graduate who is serious about building a real professional foundation You can connect with a CEO and a college athlete in the same hour and both leave feeling like they were your priority You take ownership — if something looks wrong, you fix it without waiting for instructions What You Will Do This role covers three areas: guest experience, facility operations, and member support. No two shifts look exactly the same, but the standard never changes. Guest Experience Greet every guest within 30 seconds — by name whenever possible Welcome walk-in visitors, answer questions, and lead professional facility tours Introduce new members to the protocol and explain each modality with confidence Make every person who walks in feel like the most important person in the building Facility Operations Maintain a spotless, premium environment — rooms reset between sessions, equipment cleaned, towels stocked Monitor member sessions and check in proactively — anticipate needs before they are expressed Manage scheduling and appointments through scheduling software Execute opening and closing procedures to RRW standards every shift Member Support & Growth Complete guest intake forms and enter lead information accurately after every visit Present membership options to interested visitors with confidence — no pressure, just honest guidance Follow up with prospects per the RRW guest experience process Build real relationships with members that keep them coming back What This Is Not This is not a passive role. You will not be sitting behind a desk waiting to be told what to do. RRW has a high standard and we expect it to be upheld every shift, every interaction, without being reminded. This is also not a high-pressure sales environment. We do not push. We educate, we connect, and we let the experience close itself. If that sounds like your kind of environment — you are probably the right person. Schedule & Compensation Position Type Part-Time — 20 to 25 hours per week Primary Shift Window Monday through Saturday, morning and midday shifts, it will vary. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience PLUS Performance Incentives Membership Benefit Full complimentary RRW membership while employed — use every modality in the building Environment Professional, clean, high-energy performance recovery facility Growth Potential First hire at a growing business — opportunity to grow into a leadership role Why RRW We are growing with a full partner lineup, an active member base, and a facility that genuinely stands out in North Phoenix. We have a small, high-standard team and a community of members who love being here. You will have full access to every modality in the building. You will understand this place from the inside because you will experience it yourself. That is not a perk — it is part of how we develop our team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a business with real momentum. The person who fills this role will help set the culture and the standard for every member and employee who comes after them. That matters to us — and it should matter to you. How to Apply Do not send a generic resume and cover letter. We will not read it.
Send us three things:
Your resume — brief is fine, honest is better A short paragraph (5-8 sentences) about a time you took ownership of someone's experience and made it better — in any setting, personal or professional Answer this in two or three sentences: What does recovery mean to you personally, and why does it matter? Applications that skip these three things will not be reviewed. We are looking for a specific kind of person, not the most polished resume in the pile.
