Newly opened, modern hotel! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable hospitality professional to join our team.
Position Summary:
As a Front Desk Clerk / Guest Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out experiences, handling guest inquiries, and representing the IHG brand with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently Process guest payments, handle cash, credit cards, and direct billing following company procedures Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and the local area Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and special needs to ensure satisfaction Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved quickly Balance shift reports, maintain accurate records, and complete daily audit tasks as required Uphold IHG service standards, brand policies, and safety/security procedures Support other departments as needed and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications:
Previous front desk or guest service experience
REQUIRED
- preferably with IHG, Hilton, Marriott, or similar branded hotels Knowledge of hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, HotelKey, or similar) is highly preferred Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Attention to detail, accuracy with cash handling and data entry Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in hospitality a plus)
