Job Description
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with food, being creative, staying organized, and delivering great customer service. This role combines hands-on gourmet popcorn production with front counter guest interaction and packaging responsibilities. Responsibilities Produce gourmet popcorn flavors using commercial popcorn equipment Follow recipes, procedures, temperatures, and food safety standards carefully Monitor popcorn cooking, coating, cooling, and mixing processes Package and label popcorn products for retail displays and customer purchases Maintain clean, organized, and stocked workstations Assist with bagging, sealing, weighing, and inventory rotation Help maintain attractive popcorn and candy displays Provide friendly guest service and assist customers at the front counter Operate cash register/POS system accurately Assist with opening duties Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup as needed Work efficiently during busy tourist and holiday periods Ideal Candidate Enjoys working with food and creating high-quality products Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable multitasking in both kitchen and customer service environments Pays attention to detail and follows recipes consistently Able to stay organized and clean in a fast-paced setting Works well independently and with a team Food service, bakery, candy, kitchen experience preferred Able to lift 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Perks Fun and creative work environment Opportunity to learn specialty food production Employee discounts Growth opportunities within the company Work in a unique downtown sweets shop atmosphere Schedule Day shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required Flexible scheduling available depending on position To Apply Please submit your resume along with a short description of why you'd be a great fit for our team.
