Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, customer service oriented person to join our team at the Ramada in Arcata, CA as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk! You will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
Shift Hours:
3pm to 11pm, 4 days a week. Weekend availability required. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with professionalism Assist guests with their needs, including room assignments, special requests, and local information Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and reservations using hotel management software Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating concerns to management when necessary Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty Preform light cleaning tasks whenever necessary Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is a plus Ability to work flexible hours Familiarity with customer service required Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills preferred
