Job Description

The Inn at Avila Beach is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during evening and overnight hours, ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and guest services. Your enthusiasm and hospitality expertise will help create memorable stays while maintaining efficient hotel operations through night auditing procedures. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes using hotel management software Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and generate reports Manage phone system with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly Maintain guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions Ensure the security of the property by monitoring CCTV cameras and conducting routine safety checks during overnight hours Support front desk operations by managing reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently Requirements Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guest needs Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems preferred Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system handling Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable; familiarity with guest services and resort environments is a plus
