Job Description
Maintains room security by providing effective key control and participates in matters relating to guest room security. Verify each Front Desk transactions. Process credit card transactions. Post room, tax, laundry and other miscellaneous charges to guest folios and finalize transactions completed during the day. Create and/or print required reports and file or transmit reports as directed.. Handles and connects phone calls and take messages for guests and/or hotel staff. Take, modify and cancel guest reservations. Input same into the computer, noting any special requests. Check in/out guests, verify departure dates and offer to make future reservations. Administer guest payment policies. Responsible for shift cash transactions. Responsible for knowing hotel emergency policies.
