Job Description

Front Desk Agent About:
Casetta Group is a hotel brand and management company overseeing The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, Casa Cody in Palm Springs, and Marina Riviera in Big Bear, Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico and a church in Silver Lake, Los Angeles.
Reporting to:
Hotel Manager/ General Manager Summary of Position:
A Hotel Front Desk Agent shall serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Responsibilities:
  • Process check-in/check-out and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.
  • Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
  • Assists guests in the selection and preparation of specialty coffee beverages and the purchase of beverages, and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Taking inventory and replenishing items in display areas.
Requirements:
  • Previous hotel-related experience desired.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
