  • Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at our hotel.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience by providing exceptional customer service and managing front desk operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations and payments. Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details. Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure all reports are completed accurately. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to guests. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Assist with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while providing information about services. Experience Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of guests. Familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. A background in hospitality management or related fields is beneficial for understanding industry standards.
