In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the hotel lobby area, creating a positive first impression for all visitors. Duties Maintain a spotless and inviting lobby area by performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using appropriate floor care equipment. Ensure all public spaces are well-organized, tidy, and free of clutter to promote a welcoming atmosphere. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, elevator buttons, seating areas, and reception counters to uphold health standards. Assist with janitorial duties such as waste removal, replenishing supplies like tissues and hand sanitizers, and maintaining restrooms in impeccable condition. Support hotel staff by providing prompt assistance with guest inquiries related to lobby services or directions around the property. Conduct periodic inspections of the lobby area to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest service is essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts.
