Full-time / Part-time Position Summary Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Associate / Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. This position may include daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts. What You'll Be Doing Front Desk Responsibilities Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Provide exceptional customer service while responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns. Answer phone calls and manage hotel reservations professionally and efficiently. Process credit card and cash transactions accurately and securely. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness. Monitor lobby and front desk areas to ensure cleanliness and organization. Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and special requests. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Support daily front desk operations while maintaining hotel brand standards. Assist with loyalty program enrollments and upselling opportunities. Complete shift reports, logs, and other administrative duties as assigned. Night Auditor Responsibilities Perform nightly audit procedures to ensure accuracy of guest accounts, room charges, and hotel revenue. Reconcile daily financial transactions, including cash, credit card, and direct billing accounts. Balance and close out the property's accounting system at the end of each business day. Verify and correct discrepancies in guest folios, room rates, and payment records. Handle overnight guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and requests. Maintain hotel security awareness during overnight hours and report any unusual activity. Prepare the front desk and audit documentation for the morning shift. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. What We're Looking For Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or customer service experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer knowledge and experience with hotel PMS systems preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and accounting skills preferred for night audit responsibilities. Bilingual candidates are a plus. Requirements 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, hotel front desk, or night audit experience preferred. Professional phone etiquette. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements This is a physically active position. Candidates must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. required.
