Summary of Job Description As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Agent plays a significant role in setting the tone for guests' stays, facilitating smooth and efficient check-ins and check-outs, and handling cashiering duties. You will attend to guests' needs promptly, providing personalized service and addressing any inquiries or issues that arise. This position requires a strong commitment to exceeding guest expectations, ensuring that each interaction is positive and memorable. You must possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. By delivering outstanding service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, you contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction and the hotel's reputation for excellence. The hourly rate for this position is $21.30 per hour. Work Hours Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs. Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends Job Requirements Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel. Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently. Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow up. Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment. Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Ability to work well under the pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines for guests' pastry orders. Job Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly first impression. Register guests into the computer system, verifying reservation details and processing payments. Handle cash and balance the cash drawer, maintaining accurate financial records. Provide guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions. Assist guests with check-out, ensuring all services are correctly accounted for and processing various forms of payment. Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain extensive knowledge of the hotel's services, facilities, and the local area. Follow hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security standards, and continuously strive to improve operational standards. Participate in upselling and promoting marketing programs to enhance guest experience and hotel revenue. Work cohesively with the team, supporting management and collaborating professionally with co-workers. By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will help create a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests, ensuring they leave with a positive impression of our hotel.
