Sales & Front Desk Associate Cow Hollow Motor Inn and Suites San Francisco, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Sales Client services experience within hospitality industry High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Property management systems (PMS) Newsletters (communication methods) Venue guest services Full Job Description Job Summary This role combines front office operations with sales responsibilities, ensuring guests have a smooth check-in/check-out experience while also promoting and selling hotel services and amenities. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays when needed.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Operations:
Greet guests upon arrival and departure in a warm, professional manner. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, issuing room keys and providing relevant information. Manage reservations via phone, email, or in person, including online booking systems. Answer guest inquiries about rooms, rates, amenities, local attractions, and hotel services. Process payments, verify credit card details, and handle invoices. Check guests out accurately, providing billing statements and thank-you notes. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
Sales & Promotions:
Create monthly newsletter Promote seasonal offers, loyalty programs, and special events to increase revenue. Coordinate with ownership to share promotional materials and strategies. Assist in organizing and running sales events or special promotions.
Guest Relations & Support:
Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met. Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance guest experience. Requirements & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) and reservation software. Customer service attitude with a positive, service-oriented mindset. Experience in sales or hospitality is a plus. Work Environment This is a front-line role in a hotel setting, requiring regular interaction with guests, flexibility to handle peak periods, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
