Job Description

Hearst Ranch Winery Tasting Room Support Associate Hearst Ranch Winery's hand-crafted wines have been brought to life by the collaboration of its talented team of professionals using sound agricultural practices, impeccable winemaking and a culture of philanthropic involvement. We are dedicated to the "Legacy of Quality" that we have established with our portfolio of wines and we are looking for a high energy individual to support our tasting room staff in our San Simeon location. Position Summary The Tasting Room Support position is responsible for washing and polishing glassware, clearing and cleaning tables after guests leave and keeping the wine and deli case fully stocked. Seeking a candidate who is also comfortable with assisting the concierge answering the front desk phone, and checking guests into the Tock reservation system when needed. This is a part-time position that will require weekday & weekend availability. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist tasting room staff with the guest experience by busing and cleaning tables and insuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Sanitize wine club lounge and picnic tables when guests are finished
  • Bus and sash glassware and other service items in dishwasher and polish.
  • Setup and maintain clearing and cleaning service stations in an orderly fashion throughout the shift
  • Follow the daily tasting room procedures for stocking, dusting, cleaning, and assist with removing trash and recycling containers at the end of the shift.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Tasting Room Manager Qualifications Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player Must be flexible in working weekends and special events Attention to details and cleanliness is a must Reliable, punctual and communicative Willingness to adhere to Covid 19 safety and cleanliness guidelines.
Physical Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Position requires adequate fitness level to stand, lift, and bend throughout the shift $18 + DOE Tip pool inclusion
