Front Desk Agent (Part-Time)

Santa Barbara's Castillo Inn is seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team for the weekends! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Your enthusiasm and hospitality expertise will create a positive first impression and foster guest loyalty. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and routing calls appropriately Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and a solutions-oriented approach Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information using hotel management software Provide exceptional guest services by offering local information, amenities, and directions Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times Support night audit processes by reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports as needed Experience Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service roles preferred Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and guest relations techniques Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards Experience with hotel management software or property management systems (PMS) is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor Ability to handle night audit procedures confidently during evening shifts Join us at Castillo Inn where your hospitality talents will shine!
