Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We're looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You'll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Compensation:

$16 - $17.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

Field customer complaints when necessary Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date Answer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests

Qualifications:

Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills About Company Candlewood Suites Thornton is located right off Interstate 25 and 144th Avenue. We are close to downtown but far enough away that you don't feel like you're in a big city!
