Front Desk Administrator (Temporary)
Location:
Hartford, CT Duration:
June 15 - August 14 (Potential for earlier start date)
Pay:
$18.50/hour About the Role We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Administrator to support operations at the Hartford Boys and Girls Club. This position is the first point of contact for our members, and your primary goal is to provide a welcoming environment and efficient service.
Please note:
This is an administrative support role, not a sales position. There are no sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities Member Services:
Greet members and visitors, manage the check-in/out process, and assist with scanning.
Information Support:
Explain membership benefits and assist prospective and current members with the sign-up process.
Front Desk Operations:
Provide general assistance for member needs, maintain desk logs, and ensure a smooth operational flow.
Administrative Support:
Handle timecards and other basic clerical tasks as assigned.
Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Interpersonal Skills:
A helpful, patient, and professional demeanor is essential for interacting with the public.
Skills:
Candidates will be required to complete a brief assessment to demonstrate administrative decision-making capabilities. #
