Job Description

The Front Desk Agent to check in and out guests to the hotel, ensure proper room and miscellaneous postings, secure credit, answer questions, answer telephones, provide maximum levels of guest service and support the hotel's rooms division in anyway required to ensure complete guest satisfaction
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Welcome guests by greeting, answering questions, and responding to requests
  • Register guests by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, and issuing guest room keys
  • Establishes credit by verifying credit cards of obtaining cash
  • Communicate hotel facilities and services to all guests
  • Provide information on the local area and points of interest
  • Assisting guests with arrivals and departures
  • Keep records of occupied rooms and guests
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge to answer guest questions and inquiries
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high emphasis on customer service
  • Ability to ensure all department and hotel services, such as check in procedures, professional telephone etiquette, reservations, etc are followed
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
  • Excellent communication
