Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Port Hotel & Marina in Crystal River. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing guest relations and ensuring that each visitor has a memorable experience. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Provide information about the resort/hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked. Perform night audit duties as required, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports. Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests. Uphold the highest standards of guest services in line with the resort/hotel's policies. Qualifications Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations gracefully. A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
