This role manages check-in and check-out processes, handles guest inquiries, and ensures a welcome and efficient front desk experience. We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to our team to manage all aspects of hotel guest's accommodation. Our Front Desk Agent will welcome new guests and issue room keys, manage reservations and provide information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision benefits PTO and Holiday Pay 401K Employee Appreciation Program Employee Lunches Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner Manage guest checkin and checkout procedures accurately and efficiently Verify guest information, process payments, and issue room keys Answer phone calls, emails, and inperson inquiries promptly and professionally Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations with a positive attitude Maintain uptodate knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness Resolve guest issues quickly or escalate to management when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Perform all checkin and checkout tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Qualifications Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role Experience with hotel reservations software, such as OnQ or FSPMS Customer service experience Excellent communication and organizational skills We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
