Guest Services Assistant

Guest Services Assistant Hollywood, FL Full-Time | $14.00/hour A mission-driven residential services organization is seeking a Guest Services Assistant to support daily operations at a shelter-based facility. This role focuses on client oversight, safety, and assistance while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment.

Shift Availability:

Multiple shifts available including morning, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed. Key Responsibilities Monitor residents and ensure a safe, respectful environment Assist with new resident orientation and daily client needs Provide front desk and common area oversight (including laundry areas) Respond to incidents and emergencies according to procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors Support special programs and operational activities Complete documentation and incident reports as required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1+ year experience in social services, residential programs, security, or related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in challenging situations Basic computer skills Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Ability to visually and verbally interact with staff and residents Benefits Paid Time Off and holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Retirement plan with employer match Employee discounts and wellness benefits Paid birthday or work anniversary day Pre-employment background screening required. for immediate consideration.
