SummaryThe Front Desk Agent at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is the first point of contact for guests and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional arrival and departure experience. This position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing a large number of daily check-ins and check-outs while maintaining a warm, professional, and efficient demeanor. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, excels at multitasking, and is passionate about hospitality.

Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests upon arrival with a welcoming and professional attitude, creating a positive first impressionEfficiently manage high-volume check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and speedVerify reservations, assign rooms, and issue room keys in accordance with resort standardsHandle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionallyProcess payments, post charges, and maintain accurate guest accountsCoordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfactionMaintain knowledge of resort amenities, dining options, activities, and local attractions to assist guestsResolve guest issues with a service-first mindset, escalating when appropriateAdhere to all cash handling, safety, and security proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all timesQualificationsPrevious front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferredExperience in a high-volume resort or hotel environment strongly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced settingProficiency with property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skillsFlexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)Frequent walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbsAbility to work continuously in a busy lobby environment with high guest trafficStrong manual dexterity for handling keys, credit card machines, and computer systemsAbility to hear and communicate clearly in a high-noise, fast-paced settingWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-volume resort setting with frequent guest interactionRequires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailHigh guest expectations requiring professionalism, responsiveness, and problem-solving skillsWhy Join UsAt Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, youll be part of a dynamic hospitality team delivering memorable experiences in one of the premier resort destinations on the Gulf Coast.
