Job Description

Must have open availability: 7a-3p & 3p-11p Overview As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in shaping the overall guest experience. This position requires a combination of excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a warm, service-oriented attitude. Core Duties of a
Hotel Front Desk Agent Guest Check-In/Check-Out:
Greet guests warmly and professionally. Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel systems. Assign rooms and issue room keys or key cards.
Reservations Management:
Take phone, online, or in-person reservations. Modify, cancel, or confirm bookings as needed. Ensure accuracy in guest details and preferences.
Customer Service:
Address guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and directions. Resolve complaints or escalate issues to management if necessary.
Handling Payments:
Process payments via cash, credit card, or other methods. Manage billing, receipts, and deposits. Handle foreign currency exchanges if applicable.
Communication & Coordination:
Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness. Coordinate guest services such as wake-up calls, room service, or transportation. Maintain logs and reports for management.
Record Keeping:
Update guest records and maintain accuracy in booking systems. Balance cash drawers and prepare shift reports.
Security Awareness:
Monitor who enters and exits the building. Follow safety and emergency procedures. Report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Upselling & Promotions:
