Job Description

The Hilton Garden Inn Chicago North Shore / Evanston is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for guests, the Guest Services Agent plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You will be responsible for check-in/out procedures, guest requests, reservations, and general front office operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Perform check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Provide guests with hotel information and concierge services.
  • Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately post charges and manage cash, credit card, and billing transactions.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Follow all Hilton brand standards and safety/security procedures. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous front desk or customer service experience in a hotel preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers; experience with Hilton's PEP PMS is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
