Job Description

We are looking for a part-time or Full-time Front Desk Agent in the evening and weekends to join our team and serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. The Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. We are a fun, friendly customer service-oriented team and if you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests through a warm and hospitable personality and attitude. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Approach all encounters with guests, employees, and members in a professional and personalized manner Manage online and phone reservations Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Must have a professional image and personality exuding confidence and leadership skills whilst encouraging safe and efficient hotel operations Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities Respond to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner Must have a working knowledge of computers and computer software systems Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Other responsibilities may be assigned Skills Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar customer service-oriented role Experience with hotel reservations software PEP and Key making Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and Expedia Customer service attitude Excellent communication and organizational skills
