The ideal candidate will provide friendly and courteous service while performing all front desk related duties. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring their experience is seamless from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week, including holidays and weekends.
  • MUST have a flexible schedule!
This position requires both day and primarily evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends depending on business in the hotel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to create a positive first impression. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
High School Diploma or GED required. Customer service experience highly preferred Excels at operating in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding people skills. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest services in a resort or hotel setting. Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
