Job Description

Have to have weekend availability and weekday night availability! Great job for college students! Will need to be 18 years or older.
Job Overview:
As a Front Desk Attendant at the SportsBarn, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. You will be responsible for welcoming and assisting customers, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support to the facility management. Your friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and knowledge of baseball facility operations will be crucial to the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Customer Service:
  • Greet and welcome customers as they enter the facility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, offering information, and addressing customer concerns or issues.
2.
Check-In and Registration:
  • Register new customers and assist returning customers with check-in procedures.
  • Ensure that waivers, release forms, or membership agreements are completed and signed as required.
3.
Reservation Management:
  • Assist customers in making reservations for batting cages, practice areas, or other facility amenities.
  • Maintain an organized schedule to avoid double bookings or scheduling conflicts.
4.
Payment Handling:
  • Collect payments for services, memberships, or rentals and provide receipts to customers.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
5.
Facility Knowledge:
  • Be knowledgeable about the services, programs, and amenities offered at the facility.
  • Provide information about pricing, availability, and any special promotions.
6.
Equipment and Inventory:
  • Maintain an organized inventory of team apparel and concession items.
  • Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
7.
Safety and Facility Rules:
  • Enforce safety rules and facility policies to ensure the well-being of customers and the facility's assets.
  • Be vigilant for any potential safety hazards and report them to the management. 8. Concessions
  • Check out customers needing drinks or food.
  • Keep the concessions clean and stocked.
9.
Facility Maintenance:
  • Help with cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, organizing equipment, and ensuring a neat and tidy front desk area and facility.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of baseball and facility operations is preferred.
  • Ability to operate computer and point-of-sale systems.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor.
Working as a Front Desk Attendant at the SportsBarn requires a combination of customer service, administrative skills, and a passion for baseball. This role is essential in ensuring that customers have a positive experience while enjoying the facility's amenities and services.
