Candidates with ability/flexibility to work a mix of AM or PM shifts are preferred. AM shift is from 7am-3pm PM sift is from 3pm-11am Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Agent will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience at our hotel or resort. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about hotel services. Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations in the hotel management system. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance guests' stay. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of guest services. Experience Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred. Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous. Knowledge of guest services principles and practices within the hotel or resort industry is beneficial. A background in hospitality management or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
