Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in maintaining guest satisfaction and enhancing their overall experience at our establishment. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, handling reservations and payments accurately. Provide information about the resort's amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions using hotel management software. Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of the day. Answer phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist callers with inquiries or reservations. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is beneficial. A background in hospitality management is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
