Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front Staff Service Provider, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise within a lively hospitality setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures. Manage reservations, walk-ins, and guest inquiries efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Square POS. Answer phones professionally, providing information and assistance with a friendly tone while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Assist guests with their needs, including seating arrangements, directions, and general questions about the facility or services offered. Coordinate with kitchen or service staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages when applicable. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area to uphold a welcoming environment. Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills to resolve issues effectively. Skills Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Square POS to process transactions accurately. Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus, especially in guest services and guest relations roles. Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting via phone or in person. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of serving protocols, hospitality standards, and basic restaurant operations enhances your effectiveness in this role.
